The pictures show the changes of a park from 1980 to the present day. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 words.

The images provided illustrate the renovations the
park
 has undergone between 1980 and today. Overall, numerous changes can be observed in the layout of the
park
. In 1980, the
park
 had a clear demarcation of the brick wall across its boundary and a single path that connected the north-western side with the gate, which was situated on the south side of the
park
. The public garden
also
 had a small body of water that was surrounded by benches. On the north-eastern side, there were trees.
However
, major changes can be discerned from the present day's design of the
park
; the boundary wall has been demolished, and the wooden gate has
also
 been removed. The
park
 is now divided into 4 major segments by the pavement arising from each direction, which conjoins at the centre of the
park
. Despite that, the pond and benches remain unchanged.
However
, some trees in the north-eastern direction have been chopped off to accommodate a few picnic benches and a barbecue for the general public to enjoy their weekend. The south-eastern segment has been developed into a play area for children, and the north-western segment has been left undeveloped.
