Some people think that developments involving the internet have brought people closer together while others think that people and communities have become more isolated.

The rapid spread of the
internet
has completely changed our lives.
However
, there are predominantly two contrasting views where a section of society vehemently deems that the
internet
has made community and communities more isolated while others emphasize that the
internet
has brought the crowd closer together. Apparently, various factors make a section of the community advocate that nation has become more isolated and have many reasons to substantiate it.
First
and foremost is, many of them have become addicted,
such
as smartphones and tablets. While using them they disconnected themselves from the outside world.
As a result
of
this
, humanity has a lack of interest to communicate what leads us to loneliness and depression.
Secondly
, they prefer staying at home
instead
of exploring the outside world and taking care of their mental health.
Thirdly
, smartphones addiction interferes face to face interactions.
On the other hand
, some believe that the
internet
has brought people closer together for myriad reasons. Chiefly, folks from all over the world are online, sharing content and using the same websites.
Furthermore
, it gives both individuals and businesses more opportunities than ever before.
Additionally
, they extend their networks and reach out to crowds they
otherwise
never meet.
Besides
, civilization especially the younger generation like to share their hobbies and interest on Instagram or other websites, to make new friends and communicate with those who have the same interests. In my profound opinion, I strongly believe that the developments bring us closer to communities that are geographically far away but separate us from loved ones who are nearby.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
