The plans below show the site of an airport now and how it will look after redevelopment next year. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given maps illustrate the detail of Southwest Airport at present and its development
next
year. Overall, it can be seen that there are a lot of amenities and structures appearing after redevelopment. These days, the airport mainly consists of three buildings; departures, arrivals, and the building for the gates. In departures, a check-in point is located in the west of the zone, while a café is opposite to it.
Moreover
, there is no facility in the arrival part. Interestingly, only eight gates are settled inside. After renovation,
instead
of the check-in area moving to the opposite side, a bag drop counter will appear.
Therefore
, the café is expected to build to the south of the bag drop point.
Furthermore
, a café, an ATM, and a car hire are predicted to create in the east of the arrivals zone. Outstandingly, the doors at the front of the build are doubled, compared to the gates inside the building increasing to eighteen. That means the inside one is going to an extent in y-shape. In the same area, there is a sky train constructed
instead
of a walkway.
However
, passport control zones are the same.
