In many countries paying things using mobile phone apps is becoming increasingly common. Does this development have more advantages or more disadvantages?

There is no doubt that Technology has increasingly improved by loops and bounds, having to pay bills or make a buy using mobile applications in the comfort of our homes, offices have made life easy peasy
however
Add the comma(s)
,however
show examples
, it is tiring when people have little or no knowledge about the use of internet or mobile paying utilization.
To begin
with, mobile banking has made life easy because it is done in the comfort of our homes or wherever we might be at that time. To illustrate, I bought a television from a well known online store Jumia
last
week, all I provided was my Automated Teller Machine card numbers and immediately the amount of money for the item was deducted from my account.
This
transaction took place while in my bed, that easy and simple.
Furthermore
, the cashless trend comes into play, by going to purchase products only by swiping cards,
this
is usually done at the Point of Sale stand. There is no need to carry cash around simply because you want to purchase goods.
On the contrary
, there are some shortcomings associated with mobile transactions, some of which are living in areas where the internet is very unstable, people not knowing how to use the mobile applications, doing a transaction that will not reflect due to some unforeseen circumstances. These are some of the limitations encountered, so a number of persons still believe going around with cash to purchase goods is still of great value rather than embracing the competence of technology.
Also
, another drawback is fraudsters impersonating some companies or organizations to scam you off your money.
For example
, my colleague at work bought a standing fan from an online store, the app requested bank details, paid for the item; it was supposed to be delivered to her within 3 days, but after 2weeks she got to find out that the company's internet security was hacked, means someone else took the money and not the company. Great consideration should be put in place when indulging in the online banking system. By and large, buying things using mobile applications will always be on the increase because people find it comforting and secure. But considering the drawbacks associated with it will be wise to not totally ignore it .

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
