Dear Sir,
This
is with reference to the recently posted ad in Sunday newspaper ,regarding a Position vacant in a local hotel.
However
,I would like to apply for the said vacancy ,As my experience and qualification match it,appropriately.
Moreover
,I have been working in ABC restaurant for the past one year as a Senior Waitress,
Although
,I am being paid a handsome salary by them,
Also
the employer is very soft towards work.Unfortunately,my working hours and vicinity do not allow me to continue with them
further
in future. Adding more to it, It would be a great opportunity if I get a Job nearby my home as my children are young and by the time I reach back home their caretaker leaves.
Hence
,Kindly arrange my interview ideally over the weekend,So that I could make myself available and presentable. Looking forward to meeting you soon. Sincerely, Zunaira Faiz

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
