One of the most important issues facing the world today is a shortage of food and some think genetically modified foods are a possible solution. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There is an ongoing debate among people regarding the lack of food all around the world and some argue that the key to solving
this
problem is using GM
foods
.In my point of view ,basically, they never can take the place of natural
foods
. In
this
essay , I will support my opinion with examples.
Firstly
, genetically engineered food is significantly changed and introduce new traits and scientists can have control over them .
For example
, their breeding can be controlled by
this
method. One of the disadvantages associated with
this
choice is environmental problems . They may negatively impact the ecosystem .
Moreover
, damage our water resources due to excessive use of water.
Secondly
, They may have a toxic effect on our body and cause cancer and hepatic followed by pancreatic which is a major concern and needs to pay attention to it .
Furthermore
, it can contribute to a rise in allergic reactions due to altering the DNA structure.
On the other hand
, new studies indicate that GM
foods
are beneficial and they are more nutritious .What's more , these
foods
are tastier and more popular for individuals. So it should not be compared with processed
foods
as they do not have any similarities.
As a result
, they are preferable to use. In conclusion,
Although
, GM
foods
are processed and different from natural
foods
and contribute to some diseases , we can not deny the beneficial aspects of using these nutritions .
However
, they never supersede
foods
that are not manufactured by processing.
