Nowadays, most people try to balance between work and other part of lives. Unfortunately, not many achieve this balance. What are the problems of this? Suggest some solutions to solve the problem?

In today’s unpredictable and fast-paced world, we see a lot of
people
having a hard
time
achieving a
work-life
balance.
Thus
,
this
essay will discuss the drawbacks caused by that particular issue and suggestions to resolve it. To start with, one of the common health problems caused by not having a
work-life
balance is chronic stress. Not only led to physical implications, like hypertension, digestive problems, and heart issues,
this
also
can impact negatively on mental health.
People
with
this
problem are prone to have a higher risk of anxiety, insomnia, or even depression.
Furthermore
, having an imbalance of
work-life
could bring negative impacts on
people
's relationships with their loved ones. Like a friend of mine who has a strained connection with her father because he has to travel so often and skips on family
time
.
Nevertheless
, there are some solutions to ensure a healthy
work-life
balance. The
first
thing is to ensure priorities in life and not compromise on what's important.
For example
,
people
can determine which aspects are crucial for their employment like adequate vacation
time
or paid maternity/paternity leave.
Next
is to make sure when fulfilling our responsibilities, we apply the most effective and efficient method, one of which is by focusing on one task at a
time
. Multitasking might be the buzzword we heard so often, but it's not always applicable and sometimes lead to more unnecessary stress.
Last
but not least, is to have a flexible schedule because sometimes that 15 minutes watching Youtube or an afternoon nap is what we need in order to be more productive.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
