In today's modern world, social
media
is getting more and more famous for providing good quality
communication
methods
to society. There are numerous advantages of using social
media
as
communication
rather than traditional
methods
which outweigh the disadvantages of social
media
. Social
media
helps in
communication
with other people of society who are living far from their own country like in Canada, Australia. They can make
contact
with them anytime by using chat, voice or video call options on social
media
applications like Whatsapp, Snapchat and many more. Through video ,call they can see other people
also
while doing
communication
which is an excellent feature of social
media
applications.
This
also
provides the feature of sending messages instantly to another person anytime and anywhere. So, we do not have to wait to send any message until the other person picks up the phone. Social
media
is very helpful in busy schedules we can easily
contact
our loved ones and send them texts if we are busy and unable to pick up their call. Nowadays, technology is very advanced as people can carry
communication
devices like mobile phones with them if they go from one place to other. On a mobile phone, there is a feature of saving all the
contact
information
of our relatives and friends. So, we do not have to remember anything. It is very easy to carry the device and have all social
media
communication
facilities in it. Traditional
methods
of
communication
like news, events are useful but they are not much helpful as these are time-consuming
methods
. A person cannot receive necessary
information
on time if anything happened. These
methods
are useful only when we have to deliver some
information
to the public about the current situation of society and country. The traditional devices which are used at home for
communication
are not portable and not helpful in saving our
contact
information
in it.
