Computers are now the basis of the modern world. They should therefore be introduced into classrooms, and their programs used for direct teaching purposes. However, dependence on computers in teaching may carry a certain degree of risk to students. Discuss both sides and give your opinion. Give reasons for your answer, and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. You should write at least 250 words.

Computers
have taken over the modern
world
, and
as a result
, some individuals have argued that they should be harnessed in the lecture rooms for educational purposes.
However
, some others have given a contrary view, claiming that
students
getting reliant on
computers
can pose a serious threat to their development.
This
essay disagrees with
this
latter view that the
use
of
computers
could be detrimental to
students
' educational progress. The essay will discuss both views. On the one hand, the risk of the student getting too used to the
computers
which can make them lazy and less creative is a major concern. With the innovation of
computers
, many
students
have become lazy with solving tasks manually, and quite a few others cannot even think creatively with their brains without having to resort to using the
computer
aid to achieve basic tasks, and
this
can be a serious problem, in the event that they have to work in a remote area where there are no
such
tools to work with.
On the other hand
,
computers
have touched various aspects of human lives, and the
world
has indeed moved from the analogue age to the modernized digital age, and the crops of graduates being produced need to get abreast with the trending development in other to be relevant to the labour market.
This
means that the training mode should reflect the realities of what is obtainable in the broader
world
.
Thus
many aspects of teaching like seminar presentations, giving lectures, and others can be performed with the
use
of the
computer
to enable
students
to get accustomed to the
computer
.
For instance
, employees these days, are looking for trained graduates who are proficient with the
use
of
computers
. In conclusion, while the
use
of
computers
can be abused by
students
, making them unnecessarily lazy and less creative, in my opinion, the
computer
should be utilized more in the classrooms in the current
world
in other to help graduates become more acceptable to the labour market which is now shifting away from the era of manual operation to a digitalized operational system.
