You recently took a trip with a taxi company. The driver behaved in an unacceptable way and you had a lot of problems. You complained to the company but no-one has replied to your complaint. Write a letter to the taxi company. In your letter say why you are writing and how you feel explain what happened tell them what you would like them to do.

Dear Uber, I am writing to raise a concern with one of the recent trips I booked with your company. I have been a regular and loyal customer of Uber for more than 3 years now and I highly rely on Uber service for all my intra-city travels.

it was completely unethical on the driver's part, I had to make a call to cancel the trip myself and bear the cancellation charges since I found myself in a vulnerable position. I am a highly organised person and do not enjoy rushing for places or meetings. That day I had to do book another cab in a hurry and rush through all the airport formalities to just meet the boarding call in time. As a customer, I do not appreciate the unprofessional behaviour that one of your partners displayed and would like you to take strict action on

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
