The chart illustrates three categories of crime(burglary,
car
theft
 and rubbery) in Newport city centre from 2003 to 2012. Overall, in the
first
years
, burglary was the most number of situations which was replaced by the
car
theft
 between 2007 and 2012, while the
robbery
 made the least amount of crime throughout the
years
. Both
car
theft
 and
robbery
 made a fluctuated trend during the period given. According to the chart, it is readily that the rate of burglary was the highest in 2004 about over 3500

then
 it was a dramatic drop of the number of circumstances from about 3000 to above 1000
incidents
 between 2005 and 2008 that it hit the bottom. After that, it slightly increased and remained stable until the

On the other hand
, both
car
theft

robbery
 slightly fluctuated. Focusing on the

theft
, it remained steady in the
first

years
 which was hit a low of the trend about 2000

 in 2006.
However
, the
robbery
 was a bit steady increase from 2003 to 2005 and 2008 to 2010, while it gradually decreased from 2005 to 2008.
