The world population growth, as well as the human demand for natural resources, have caused a problem of diminishing forests around the
planet
.
This
essay will show my knowledge about the causes, possible solutions, and effects of
deforestation
on our
planet
. The causes of
deforestation
are multiple and probably of very different kinds, in my opinion, poverty in rural areas is one of the reasons that drive the necessity to destroy the
forest
looking for wood,
also
one may think that the use of land for agriculture and livestock is a reason to take
forest
away. Poor controls from government authorities call for
forest
protection, enabling offenders to get away with their acts.
Forest
acts on our
planet
in many positive ways, they are the habitat of many species of animals and plants, they
also
help with the regulation of the temperature of the
planet
, and in some ways as an absorber for CO2, the gas that causes the greenhouse effect. The solution to avoid
deforestation
should come from all over the world, in my opinion, it is important that the international organizations that are in charge of protecting the environment maintain their efforts to keep people of the world aware of the importance of protecting the environment. It is necessary to create mechanisms to offer alternatives for the farmers to avoid the devastation of the
forest
. Stop
