Even though globalization affects the world’s economies in a positive way, its negative side should not be forgotten. Discuss.

The globalization of the economy has undoubtedly contributed to the improvement of the world's economy on a number of levels. Even so, it still has a number of negative consequences, which the essay does discuss in more depth in
this
section.
To begin
with, international integration is crucial for the development of successful businesses. As more factories are built for production, more employment opportunities are generated, which has a positive impact on lowering unemployment worldwide.
In addition
, there is the possibility that citizens can live a better life at an affordable price so that the standard of living in the world will be increased to an even greater degree. In fact, a great many countries might face famine without economic cooperation, and they would have a difficult time progressing in their economic development. Despite the international integration,
however
, there are various environmental issues created by the expansion of wealth for manufacturers that are created by the international integration. In order to build these infrastructures, people have to destroy large forests, which pose a threat to many species' habitats. In my view,
this
may be a major contributing factor to the gradual extinction of wild animals. There are factories that release emissions into the atmosphere that later cause air pollution in the atmosphere.
This
is later linked to numerous diseases that affect the respiratory system of humans. Globalization has been credited with a big positive impact on economies throughout the world, but it still has some negative aspects as well, particularly in terms of ecosystems. In
this
regard, it is necessary for the authorities to
further
increase their financial resources by preparing for future phenomena that may occur during the economic improvement process.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
