Dear Alma, How have you been? How are your parents? It's been a long time since we met
last
December. I reckon you'd enjoy going camping for some reasons. I remember that taking photos is your cup of tea. So while you're hiking or climbing you might take loads of beautiful photos. Not until you try sleeping in a tent do you understand how amazing it is to be on a campsite

There are some drawbacks to camping.
First
and foremost, it might be cold at night, that's why you need to take with you a special sleeping bag suitable for lower temperatures. Another negative side is insects. Don't forget to grab some insect repellent. I'd suggest buying DEET which is the most effective.
However
, the benefits of going camping including getting away from it all and being able to do outdoor sports outweigh any disadvantages. Hopefully, we can go camping together in the summer. We can while away lying on a hammock and relish amazing locations and an active holiday amidst nature. Let me know when you can make it. Best regards, Alice

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
