The line graph presents information about the changes in global

prices. The chart compares data from 2000 to 2011. Overall, there were erratic patterns and fluctuations in the number of
food
and
oil
prices worldwide over the 11-year study period. It is
also
clear that
food
price
was able to post the highest rate in 2011, while recorded the least in 2000. In detail, there was a moderate grew in the
food
prices from 2000 to 2007, starting at roughly 90 in the
first
year of the study and reaching about almost 140 seven years later. By 2008, the figure sharply increase with a little over 220.
However
, it rapidly declined after a year, sinking to a lķow of around 140. After two years, it registered its highest point with almost 240.
By comparison
,
this
figure was almost two and a half times as much as that recorded in 2000. Meanwhile, the average
oil
price
per barrel was a little over than the
food
price
index in 2000. It can be seen that it gradually rose its proportion until mid 2006 with nearly $70. After two years, it drastically skyrocketed and reached a peak of approximately $130. By 2009, it quickly plummeted with a little above $40. In the final year of the survey, the data on
oil
price
