You should write at least 150 words.
Dear Patricia,
I'm writing
this
letter to find out more information regarding my holiday to your country in order to prepare better because I leave in two weeks' time.
First
of all, thank you for the opportunity to come
India which has been one of the countries I've been eager to tour.
I'd like to seek your opinion on a gift to get for your family. I know it's extended but it's my desire to get something for everyone so your ideas are welcomed.
Add the preposition
tocome
Furthermore
, what are the must-visit tourist attractions in your city and what activities can one do while there? Also
, would you recommend that I pack thick or lighter clothes during my one week stay there.
Change the punctuation
?
Finally
, what kind of food do you eat there? You know I'm a huge fan of spicy food and lots of rice so I'd be so excited if this
is common in India.
I can't wait to see you and your lovely family!
Lots of love,
Rose.Submitted by oyeludevictor on

Structure your letter
A letter needs to be written using a proper format, including the following:
- A greeting (Dear sir/madam, Dear John, Dear Mr. Smith)
- The main body (consisting of paragraphs for each part of the letter)
- A closing (Yours sincerely, Yours faithfully, Best wishes, Kind regards, Love)
When writing a letter as part of the IELTS General Training Writing Task 1, it is important to include the bullet points presented to you in the question.
All three bullet points need to be presented. And remember that some bullet points contain more than one element. So, make sure to watch for ‘and’ and plurals.
