Everybody should be allowed admission to university study programs regardless of their level of academic ability. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?give reasons for your answer and include any relavant example from your own knowledge.

Some
people
suggest that universities should be open to everyone. Allowing
people
with different levels of academic ability to join the study programs. As far as I am concerned, I stand for the opposite side as I think admission can impede progress and bring negative effects on students.
To begin
with, allowing
people
with low academic ability can impede the schedule. As those
people
may not have enough background knowledge, they cannot understand and follow the classes.
As a result
, in order to let them catch up, the professor may need to slow his pace.
For example
, the professor may need to repeat the same idea as an explanation.
Consequently
results in a disturbance of progress. Apart from
this
, joining the college's study programs can be stressful for those who didn't meet the academic standard.
For example
, the chemistry course required lots of glossaries, without the special training, students can barely know what the professor is saying.
Therefore
, even if they want to learn, the high requirement may stop them from the beginning. The basic things which they don't have can bring high pressure, which can eventually convert to stress and negative mood. In conclusion, I don't think universities should permit
people
with low academic knowledge to enter the programs as it can disturb the class and
also
bring high pressure to those
people
.

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 250 words in writing task 2. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long essay will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 260 to 290 words in writing task 2. This will ensure a concise essay and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 40 minutes to write the essay and you need around 10 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long essay in 30 minutes.
