More and more young people are moving around a lot as they grow up, living in different countries and experiencing different cultures. Some people see this as positive, helping a person be more cosmopolitan. Others worry that it leads to a person having no identity. Write an essay expressing your opinion about this topic and support it with arguments.

People
always learn better when they try new activities and
this
helps them improve themselves. Nowadays, a lot of teenagers try to be citizens of the world. Like any other experience,
this
one
also
has its advantages and disadvantages. To start with, travelling around the world can help young
people
by exploring new cultures.
For instance
, if they visit a place with high cultural diversity, it is more likely for them to extract the best from
this
situation. The more they live there, the easier it would be to learn the base of a new language. They can even get fluent in it and
this
will be enormously beneficial for their future careers.
On the other hand
, when
people
in their youth move away from home, there is a higher chance to forget their identity.
For example
, they can cut connections with relatives or other important ones.
In addition
, danger can
also
be nostalgia - dreaming about visiting your home but not being able to do it. According to me, every activity a person can do has both pros and cons. It is important for young
people
to choose the option they feel most confident in and whether it will make them happy or not.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
