Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing
this
with regard to missing items in my recent purchase from your company. I bought a camera, Cannon X90, online while on vacation, and specified the shipping address to the hotel I intend to stay in, in Rome, Italy. I received the package on Monday, May 4th when I arrived in Rome.
However
, something is missing in the original package. The paper contains a warranty and

manual is missing. Since I am not in the original country of purchase. I cannot contact the local store representative for a swift replacement on the same day. I'd like to ask you for a digital copy of the warranty and instruction manual, if possible. Thank you and I am writing for your prompt response. Yours faithfully, John Smith

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
