Some people spend most of their lives living close to where they were born. What might be the reason for this? What are the advantages and disadvantages?

In the animal ,kingdom most of the animals flock together and live the rest of their lives in order to protect themselves from potential threats, while some migrate to another location for a better lifestyle. Is

true in human nature? According to social surveys, some

are willing to spend their life close to their hometown and are reluctant to relocate.
