Some people think it is better to choose friends who always have the same opinions as them. Other people believe it is good to have friends who sometimes disagree with them. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Friends
are very important in one’s life as they provide abundant affection and support in tougher times. While making friendships with different
people
, some believe that
people
, having the same thoughts and
beliefs
, become true
friends
while others think that individuals with diverse opinions become real
friends
.
This
essay is going to discuss both opinions and agrees that
friendship
between companions with different thoughts sustains long. On the one hand, it is very easy to mingle with someone if they match your wavelength and it makes life comfortable to accept another person if they are in sync with your
beliefs
. When the other person’s thought process is similar, it becomes effortless to deal with them. In
such
scenarios, relationships are formed between
people
easily but it involves the risk of losing a
friendship
when any of the arguments differ.
For Instance
, couples who got married after building strong bondage, are getting separated when there are differences in the way of raising their children.
On the other hand
, it is strenuous to handle
people
with differing opinions as it takes an enormous amount of time to discuss and convince each other of their perspectives. Though
initially
, it takes effort and time to accept each other’s arguments, over a period, the
friendship
between two
people
with differences strengthens as they learn to accept diverse viewpoints.
Moreover
, it helps them in becoming more mature and open-minded.
For instance
, when two
friends
working together on a project have different views about the way of presenting, they can present their project by taking positives from each other and leaving negatives after a thorough discussion. In my opinion, intimates who are poles apart in their ideas and
beliefs
sustain their
friendship
in the long run than the companions who match to a large extent in terms of their likes and dislikes or thoughts and
beliefs
.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
