Some people think that governments should spend more money on sports facilities for top athletes, others argue that this money should be spent on sports facilities for ordinary people. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

Providing sports facilities by governments for all citizens has always been an overwhelming issue in
this
contemporary era. Whereas multitudes of folks,
likewise
me, are its fans, the others criticize that the governments should invest just top athletes. I will elaborate on both points in my essay. On one hand, there are a lot of favourable features of
this
idea that it is better for governments to spend money on professional players.
Firstly
, talented athletes who are practicing throughout the day can not have full-time jobs.
Hence
, the government is responsible to support them to make their lives.
Moreover
, if they want to participate in international competitions not only is it costly but
also
the state will benefit from winning them and gaining medals.
On the other hand
, opponents claim that accessibility to governmental support should be equal for everyone. Allocating time and money just for top players is neither fair nor justly.
In addition
, in the majority of underdeveloped regions, there are numerous intelligent people who are not discovered due to the shortage of sports facilities. Still worse, lacking a professional coach to teach them. If they undergo teaching, it will lead to flourishing their talents. To warp up what was mentioned above, I firmly believe that ordinary people should benefit from social facilities even those who are in small towns or poor neighbourhoods. Not only is it an important aspect of democracy but
also
it helps penniless people to be successful.
