In the developed world, average life expectancy is increasing. What problems will this cause for individuals and society? Suggest some measures that could be taken to reduce the impact of ageing populations.

An increase in the number of elder populations in a country has become a course for concern as it might have adverse effects on their living. There are several issues with
this
situation, but certain measures should be taken to tackle the problem. There are 2 main problems which are the abandonment of governments, and the gap in the unemployment rates is wider.
To begin
with the former reason, official states usually focus on the populaces who have the abilities to bring prosperity to societies, and that can be referred to as middle-aged or younger
people
.
As a result
, there is an effect on the living standard of seniors,
for example
, they may earn less financial support from governments. In terms of the latter reason, it has a common thing for older
people
that they preferred to retire themselves rather than continue working due to their physical transformation. As a consequence, companies lose some professional workers, and it forces them to not hire employees because others don't have years of experience as older do. And for these reasons, governments should alleviate
this
issue as soon as possible. Several steps could be taken to minimize the problem.
Firstly
, they must provide a special team for monitoring elder
people
in terms of their living conditions; if they don't have a qualified accommodation, the government must build one for them.
For instance
, in some countries, they have nursing homes where seniors have
people
take care 24 hours.
Second
, authorities may distribute the budget for corporates to invite seniors to train younger generations in working places. Doing
this
will not only help to increase countries' income but
also
colour the elder population's lives rather than doing nothing at home. Eventually, all problems would be eliminated by doing according to the above suggestions. Despite the fact that ageing populations caused issues in society, they can be addressed by having
people
monitor them and do activities.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
