Technology and the revolution of the internet have impacted every tiny detail in our daily life. One of the aspects that have been affected is the reading habit of numerous people. Is everyone in the near future going to stop buying newspapers and books? Some people may argue that
this
is very likely to happen ,especially with the availability of electronic copies of almost everything. You can browse through any Journal now online and see the headlines and the full articles without spending any money.
Also
, links to upload a huge diversity of material are located everywhere. In my opinion, purchasing hard copies is going to decline massively if it has not already.
However
,
this
is not only because they are freely accessible. Many publishing entities all over the world have recognised that, and I expect more attention would be paid to protecting the copy writes and the accession of data, like what is happening with the software programs and movies. The influence may include the newspapers and magazines and may not,
however
,
such
kinds of businesses can benefit from the high traffic on their websites by attracting advertisements. So as I mentioned there is another reason , which is how easy is the process of finding your favourite novel or your favourite type of article online! Who would prefer going to the library or the news agency, spending time and effort looking for what they want while they can find it by pressing a few buttons or touching a screen?! Bottom line, from a personal perspective, I reckon much fewer people are going to physically obtain print-outs, even though, there will be still some readers who enjoy the smell and the texture of papers and who enjoy leafing through a book on the beach or while relaxing beside their afternoon cup of tea.
