You are planing for a vacation and want your friend to go with you. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter, you should: tell him/her why you want to take a vacation describe your plan invite him/her to go with you.

Dear Jeames, Hope you are doing well and healthy. Just writing
this
letter to let you know that I am planning to go to Hawaii for the summer vacation. After I finished tedious work
last
week, I decided to take a break and refresh my mind by travelling oversea. I have made the decision to visit
this
beautiful island by the 8th of May. Both my wife and my children will join me, so we will have four people in a group.
However
, I mistakenly bought 5 flight tickets from South America Airlines.
Therefore
, I sincerely invite you to come with us. Don't worry, I can take care of booking hotels, restaurants, etc. All you need to do is to bring a couple of sunglasses since it is quite scorching in Hawaii.  Anyway, let me know what you think. I am looking forward to your response.  Cheers  Clarence Peng

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
