Nowadays, children watch TV more than they did in the past. What are the reasons ? Give solution.

In recent years, statistics indicate that young
children
are more addicted to watching
TV
than the other generations. Some people attribute
this
phenomenon to relaxed parental education while others believe that it is the creative content presented on
TV
that captured the attention of
children
. In
this
essay, I will elaborate on the reasons behind
this
situation and its corresponding solutions. Admittedly, relaxed family education plays an important role in affecting
children
's leisure hobbies. Unlike decades ago, younger parents have become more open-minded and tolerant of
children
's hobbies as they won't interfere with
children
's leisure
time
planning.
As a result
,
children
may spend more
time
in front of the
TV
screens
instead
of participating in outdoor activities. Studies reveal that
children
's screen

has increased significantly more than their parent's. Many students are glued to

focusing on their studies. To solve
this
problem, a joint effort from parents and school is required. On the side of parents, it is necessary for them to explain the negative impacts of watching
TV
to their
children
. Clear guidance on how to counteract the negative influence of
TV
should be given as it may force
children
to reconsider before they take up the hobby of watching

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
