Dear Sir,
I am writing
this
letter in regards to the job posting for a caretaker in Australia.
My name is Tushar and I am currently working with the 'early tree' child care agency for the last
2 years, I love to take care of kids and play with them because my childhood was a bit rough and when I am around children I feel good and I always try to live myself through them.
I believe that I acquire all the skills that are required for this
position. I have done 'Early childhood program' at Georgian college with honours. Moreover
, I have had a wonderful experience dealing with children of different age groups. In addition
, I am willing to commute and I can easily adjust myself to other people and their requirements.
After work, I have planned to spend my leisure time visiting places around and exploring the new culture, also
a very close friend of mine lives a 15 minutes drive from downtown so I will be visiting her once a week.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
TusharSubmitted by tushar74521 on

The Greeting
Depending on the style and aim of the letter, you will need to adapt your greeting.
Always start an informal letter in the ways:
- Dear + name
- Hi / Hello + name
‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.
For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:
- Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
- Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.
