It is important for people to take risks,both in their professional lives and their personal lives.Do you think the advantages of taking risks outweigh the disadvantages?

We all are aware of the fact that finding the
courage
 to take
risks
 in both professional and personal lives is very essential.
Although
this
courage
 may lead to some problems,I personally believe its benefits outweigh the drawbacks. There are probably two reasons why
people
 sometimes disapprove of risk-taking.
First
 and foremost,some
people
 are just afraid of taking
risks
 even if they have never done so far.They are just cautious and careful
people
.
However
,if they fail when they
finally
 find the
courage
 to have some adventure,
this
 may cause a loss of self-esteem.As a consequence,they may be more cautious than ever before.Another reason why
people
 do not want to take a risk is that taking
risks
 does not always end up with success.
As a result
 of daring actions,some might lose their job or pleasure in their personal lives. According to some statistics,a
third
 of employees in major companies got hired because of their careless actions. In spite of all drawbacks that are mentioned above,I firmly believe that taking
risks
 helps
people
 improve themselves in every domain,whether it is professional or private.At work,being able to find the
courage
 to
risks
 has always been good,if you think about it deeply.That's to say,if you succeed,you might get promoted or feel fulfilled professionally.But what if you fail?Well, at least,you will have experience.Being stuck at doing the same thing will not get you anywhere.Another advantage of
risks
 is that most
people
 are shy and risk-averse when it comes to personal life.If they continue being so,they might not get the chance to live as they wanted.In personal matters,taking the
first
 step can establish a good connection between partners.There are a lot of
people
 out there who already achieved a happy life by taking a risk at the very beginning. By way of conclusion,
although
 taking
risks
 may cause several problems like being emotionally hurt or losing self-esteem,it seems that we gain more than we lose from taking some
risks
 and taking the
first
 step.
