Something that money is a good gift for teenagers. Others disagree. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

There is no denying the fact that the main purpose of gifts is debatable. It is argued by some that teenagers like
money
as a
gift
, while others disagree with
this
statement. In
this
essay, I will discuss both perspectives, but I agree with the former. There are two main reasons why
money
is preferable for young
people
as a
gift
. The
first
reason is that teenagers differ from each other when it comes to their interests.
In other words
, it is not easy for anyone to know which type of present a teenager could like.
Therefore
,
money
is considered the best option.
In addition
, some young
people
can benefit from the
money
in their life.
This
means that if any of them is suffering from house rent or even education fees,
money
could be beneficial in
this
case. A growing but your free search suggests that more than 60% of youth prefer cash over anything else as a
gift
.
However
, those who disagree with the given statement gave the following reasons.
Firstly
, many young
people
see the emotional side of the present, not the physical aspect.
This
is because they believe that
money
eventually will finish, but a
gift
could
last
forever.
For instance
, a boy or a girl could wear a hand watch for his or her whole life if it was a
gift
.
Moreover
,
people
in
this
period of age are sensitive, if someone important to them gave them
money
on their birthday,
for example
, they might think that he or she do not care enough to know their interests or taste. In conclusion, I believe that,
although
Cash
Money
as a
gift
has some drawbacks, still it is the best option.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
