phenomenon, thereby leading to significant consequences, both in society and the family members. There are compelling reasons why family
time
is on the decline. People spend more
time
at work than with their loved ones because of the money that they can earn to make a living and while others work hard to climb the corporate ladder.
As a result
, they struggle for
time
to bond properly with their spouse and offspring. Another driving factor that results in insufficient
time
for family is that they want to hang out with their friends.
This
is mainly because being with a partner or children usually involves household chores while humans tend to do fun activities
such
as doing their hobbies, socializing, and relaxing. With the development of technology, young people are overly addicted to digital devices
such
as mobile phones or tablets and
consequently
become disconnected from their families. Most teenagers,
for example
, spend countless hours texting their friends on social media rather than engaging in conversation with their parents.
This
growing trend phenomenon will do harm to family relationships. With the absence of family
time
will culminate in the distance between family members, which leads to misunderstandings, conflicts and even divorces in the family circle. On the societal level, the deterioration of family relations can contribute to various problems.
For instance
, if parents spend more
time
working than being with their children and teaching them right from wrong, they will lack education or information about the world, and

toxic influences. In the worst-case scenario, they will commit a crime or become addicted to drugs.
This
will culminate in the proliferation of criminals in the country. In conclusion, missing
time
with family is a big issue that affects a lot of aspects.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
