Image that if a professor wants students to learn as much as possible about a project in a short period of time, it is better to work in a group or it is better to let students study alone? Which one is better?

From kindergarten to college,
students
always need to
group
together for a variety of activities,
such
as sports competitions and studying presentations. Some
students
prefer to
study
in a
group
, while others would like to
study
by themselves.
This
essay will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of
this
issue and give my opinions at the end of the essay. On the one hand,
students
who like to
study
alone might think that it is inefficient to work with other
people
.
For example
,
people
will have a lot of disputes and opinions during the discussion, and it will waste a lot of time to achieve a consensus.
Furthermore
, not everyone will take a serious attitude toward the projects. It is unfair for those who make an effort to do the projects and get the same scores as others who just do nothing. In order to avoid the “free rider” problem, some
students
would rather
study
by themselves.
On the other hand
, it is beneficial for
students
who don’t have many opinions to
study
in a
group
.
For instance
, since
people
are all unique, everyone has a distinctive point of view on different issues, and they can get different thoughts from other
people
and do some brainstorming together in a
group
.
In addition
, if they face some problems and get stuck, it will be helpful for them to work with others, and they might receive some useful advice. In conclusion, as far as I am concerned, I prefer to
study
in a
group
. Because I think
people
are not perfect, the only way to improve ourselves is to learn from other
people
. In
this
way, we can become better
people
.
