Information technology enables many people to do their work outside their workplace (e.g. at home, when travelling, etc.). Do the benefits of this mobility outweigh the disadvantages?

Nowadays, we have an opportunity to
work
from
home
or from any place in the world through the computer, smartphones, and tablets. People started working from
home
instead
of sitting in an office the whole day during Covid19. It benefits both employee and employer, and It outweighs some disadvantages of working from
home
. In
this
essay, I will discuss the merits and demerits of remote
work
. Remote working is beneficial for employees as they save
time
or the cost of travelling to an office by car or public transport to have more
time
for
work
and spend more
time
with family and friends. It increases productivity by focusing on
work
in a quiet environment. As for employers, they don't even need to rent an office, cut paying the electric bills, It lets them save more money.
Therefore
a lot of companies are determined to continue working from
home
in spite of the end of the Lockdown of Covid19.
On the other hand
, some negatives include increased isolation by remote
work
, decreased in having a meeting or communication face to face, thereby less teamwork because of inducing hard to build up great relationships between workers, and potentially more distractions from TV, and social media.
In addition
, watching the screen for a long
time
may hurt their eyes. In conclusion, the disadvantage of working from
home
still exists,
however
, thanks to technological progress for remote working, we are able to
work
anywhere, and anytime. I believe that It rises our
work
efficiency and profit the company
further
. these benefits definitely outweigh the disadvantages.
