Some say that it would be better if the majority of employees worked from home instead of traveling to a workplace every day. Do you think the advantages of working from home outweigh the disadvantages?

The office is no longer the only place to
work
, as an increasing number of
individuals
consider working from
home
. Some may argue that the majority of
employees
should
work
from
home
instead
of the office. The advantages of working from
home
can, in my opinion, outweigh the disadvantages for the following reasons: Working from
home
is significantly more comfortable for many
individuals
.
As a result
of less frequent travel,
employees
can save a great deal of time and money, giving them more time for
work
and for themselves. Reduced commuting will
also
reduce traffic congestion and environmental pollution.
In addition
, working from
home
does not necessitate staying indoors all day;
individuals
may choose to
work
in their garden or backyard, or wherever they find it most convenient.
In addition
,
employees
experience less stress because they can choose when to
work
and when to rest. These will contribute to improved task performance. There are still disadvantages associated with working from
home
.
For instance
, working in a private area reduces face-to-face interactions between coworkers.
However
, the issue has been resolved by the Internet. Currently, people from all over the world can easily communicate and collaborate across great distances. Another disadvantage is that external factors may distract some
individuals
from their
work
.
This
necessitates that
employees
maintain a heightened awareness of what they should and should not do with their paid
work
. In conclusion, working from
home
should be encouraged because its benefits outweigh its drawbacks.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
