You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect. Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter • correct the information in the article • explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information • suggest what the magazine should do about this situation
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing
this
letter in reference to address a mistake in you last
week The Weekend article. This
magazine publishes the history of the heritage monuments. In the last
,article there is information
about the Art Museum
which is located in London. The information
has been printed on the third
page and mentioned the age of this
museum
which is 300 years old whereas the correct age of this
museum
is 320 years.
The Weekend magazine is one of the most seller magazines and they are many keen readers ready this
all over the world. Due to this
reason, I believe that the information
which you present to the world should be correct and verified with authenticated sources before publishing.
I reckon that this
incorrect information
about the museum
should be corrected as soon as possible to avoid spreading mal information
further
. I would like you to suggest that you should re-print this
article in your next
addition and also
to draw readers' attention, the correct information
should be printed in bold characters so it would be obvious to the reader to understand the correction.
I would be grateful if you could manage to correct the information
in your next
addition.
Yours faithfully,
