Tourism has increased so much over the last 50 years that it is having a mainly nagetive impact on local inhabitants and the environment, others claim that it is good for the economy. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of tourism and give your own opinion.
Tourism
is someone who travels to another place to see places
of interest. When the number of tourists increases in society, this
issue impact society some people
claim that it is a bad effect on their inhabitat but the government claim that it is good earnings for the country
. So there are some advantages and disadvantages of tourism
in a society.
First
, tourism
has challenges when it becomes to a country
. At ,first
visitors can make a bad traffic jam in some places
such
as stores, streets, museums, etc. It makes people
angry and sad because their peace and security are hurt. They are a foreign person that nobody knows and so it expects that people
Inhabitat react. Also
, visitors have different religions which makes some problems for them and the people
that live there. For example
, if they go to a religious site and they do not know the rules about that site it probably creates a fight between tourists and people
.
Therefore
some drawbacks there are and some benefits. First
, tourism
creates an economic boom. They visit a lot of places
,especially historical places
and also
buy handcraft that makes a source of income for the people
of that place and the government. Another reason is a cultural exchange between visitors and native people
. Native people
can learn new cultures and also
languages through tourism
also
native people
can expand their traditions through tourism
. The last
reason is to make a good relationship between two countries by travelling to each other’s country
.
In conclusion, there are some drawbacks and benefits to tourism
but the advantages are more than disadvantages so tourism
is useful for a country
