Some people say that it is possible to tell a lot about a person’s culture and character from their choice of clothes. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is argued by some
people
that it is plausible to tell much about the
character
and
culture
of individuals from the
clothes
they wear. I totally agree with
this
statement because traditional
clothes
represent their
culture
and it is a non-verbal way to communicate. The
first
main reason why I think it is possible to tell an individual’s
culture
and
character
from their
clothes
is that their traditional
clothes
stand for their
culture
.
That is
to say that each country has unique
clothes
that are different from other countries,
this
allows
people
to easily detect the
culture
of individuals.
For example
, in the UK, if a woman wears a hijab,
people
can easily detect that she is from a Muslim country. The other reason why I agree that it may be easy to tell the
culture
and
character
of a person from their
clothes
is that it is a non-verbal way to communicate.
This
is because
clothes
convey things
such
as occupation, age, and nationality.
For instance
, in Muslim countries, women cover their heads with white
clothes
to show other
people
that their husbands have died recently. In conclusion, I believe that it is possible to tell the
character
of individuals from the
clothes
they wear because every
culture
has a unique traditional cloth and it is a non-verbal way to communicate.
