Dear Sir, I am writing
this
letter to inform you about the Neckpiece I ordered from your website
last
Friday. When I opened the package, I saw one chain was broken from one end, and it was a big disappointment for me as I need that urgently for the party. I made the payment online, so I do not know if you would be able to refund my money or not. As the necklace is broken so it is not useful for me,
therefore
, I want to return that product with my full money back.
Hence
, I want you to register my complaint and send your courier partner so that he can collect the product from my place and
then
please issue my refund. I hope that you will take appropriate action on my request. Looking forward to your positive reply Yours Sincerely, Shikha

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
