You recently organised an all-day meeting for your company, which took place ina local hotel. In their feedback, participants at the meeting said that they liked the hotel, but they were unhappy about the food that was served for lunch. Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter • say what the participants liked about the hotel •explain why they were unhappy about the food • suggest what the manager should do to improve the food in the future.
Dear Mr Parmod,
My company recently had its annual meeting in your Hotel on 24th September.
I am writing
this
letter to thank you for the services that you have rendered. As we have a policy in which every participant provides valuable feedback. Everyone praises the quality of service rendered by your staff and its hospitality. Also
, we have received a five-star rating for selecting your hotel.
Though everything was perfect, there was only one concern related to the food. We got two-star ratings for the lunch, and most of them had complaints in respect of its taste and freshness. Furthermore
, our team observed that there were some changes in the menu that we finalised earlier.
Being a regular customer, I really appreciate your team's hard work all the time. However
, I would like to give my suggestion, to ensure that the decided menu is only edited after discussion with the organiser. Also
, the quality of food should be maintained like your hospitality. Otherwise
, it might not be possible for me to have meetings in your hotel.
I hope you appreciate my feedback going forward with our relationship. Feel free to reach out if more details are required.
Yours faithfully,
