Transport delays and long journey times are a widespread phenomenon in many cities today. What are the causes of this problem, and how could the situation be improved?

I am writing to refer Ms Divina Hillsong, who has uncontrolled diabetes type 2. She requires health teaching and ongoing care. Ms Hillsong has had diabetes since 2011 and for which she was advised to revise her dietary lifestyle, reduce her weight and increased her exercise respectively. After 2 years, she still refused a dietician consultation.
As a result
, her cascade of symptoms of untreated diabetes follows a progression of her vision impairment and increase in weight. She commenced Glicazide 80mg twice a day. In September 2011, Ms Hillsong has Biliary Colic and underwent a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy.
In addition
, her waterproof dressing on the operation is scheduled to be removed today. She was on analgesics for her post-operative pain. Currently, she can manage to walk short distances and has better glycemic control,
although
, she still has difficulties in checking her blood glucose. Significantly, she agrees to a Dietician referral. It would be beneficial if you could give information to her in terms of self-testing with voice-activated monitoring of glucose. Please stress the importance of glycemic control.
Further
, I would be grateful if you could encourage her to comply with the dietician's advice and her personal weight regimen. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
