Dear Allan, I am writing a letter to notice of my resignation from my position as a Sous Chef. The
last
day of my employment will be 30th October 2022. The reason I resigned is that I am moving back to my country. Due to my mother being sick, I have the responsibility to take care of her. Thank you for being patient and giving me an opportunity to learn from others. I have learned so many skills in the
last
couple of years,
such
as being a good team member with others and having my own ideas to create new dishes. I so enjoyed working here because everyone is so friendly and helpful. Sometimes I feel like we are not just about working but
also
a part of the family members. I wish you and your team all the best and I look forward to staying in touch with you. Yours sincerely, Yumi

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
