In future, robots may do more of the work that is done by humans today. would the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?
Nowadays, technological advancements have increased rapidly. One
such
evolution is robotization. It is often believed that in the future bots
would do more work as compared to human beings. I think that the merits of this
advancement outweigh its disadvantages. This
essay will discuss both the pros and cons in subsequent paragraphs.
To begin
with, robotization has two drawbacks. One of them is limited information. Such
gadgets can perform a few tasks
for which they have been programmed and are not capable to perform activities by thinking out of the box. For instance
, a bot programmed to label certain products can only accomplish that task without doing anything extra. Moreover
, failovers in such
gadgets can lead to some serious repercussions specifically in the case of medical science. If robots
are used for some critical surgery and there is some malfunctioning, it could take a patient's life. Though these demerits are associated with robots
, I still believe that bots
can perform many tasks
efficiently and have greater merits.
Robots
have several advantages. They can easily work with explosives and hazardous chemicals. This
would save humans from being exposed to such
high-risk activities. For example
, many laboratories in the United States have bots
to manage their critical scientific experiments. Furthermore
, when bots
perform day-to-day activities, humans can find some quality time to develop new skills rather than working on the same repetitive tasks
. In this
way, people can develop new skill sets and upscale their careers. In addition
, there are certain tasks
involved in manufacturing industries that require a lot of time if done manually. Hence
, many industries are moving towards automation by utilizing robots
to complete such
complex tasks
within shorter time spans.
To conclude, even though there are a few drawbacks associated with this
trend, I believe that robotization has significant advantages that can help individuals grow in their careers and allow industries to complete their tasks
at a faster pace. Hence
, I firmly believe that the advantages of this
approach are far greater than its disadvantages.Submitted by rudridave.c on
