You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. Your neighbours have recently written to you to complain about the noise from your house/ flat. Write a letter to your neighbours. In your letter explain the reasons for the noise apologise describe what action you will take

Dear Ahmed, I want to clarify why you are complaining about the noise from my flat. All my kids stay inside because of the quarantine and COVID-19 restrictions, even though the schools are closed.
In addition
to the above reason, recently my wife delivered a remarkable girl, always crying without any reason, so all the above reasons made our flat noisy. I sincerely apologize regarding
this
issue and be sure I feel what you feel, and I know with
this
noise, you can not go on with your daily tasks. Rest assured that I will take severe actions to solve
this
complaint as follows 1- I will ensure all my children do not sleep during day time to avoid late sleeping at night. 2- I will inform my wife to keep the new baby in the farther room from your flat. Warm regards,

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
