Manufacturing process of making sugar from sugar scane

The diagram shows 7 steps of how

. Overall, It starts with growing the
sugar
cane
and after processing through different stages they separate
sugar
from
syrup
and dry the
sugar
for the use of consumers. Looking into the details, the
first
step in making
sugar
is growing
sugar
cane
which will take around 12 to 18 months. Once a crop is ready
then
it will be harvested by using 2 different methods.

can be harvested with the help of machines or by using manual labour. The
next
step in
this
process is crushing,
sugar
cane
will be crushed and juice is extracted.
Then
,
this
juice will be purified by using a limestone filter so that all impurities can be removed from it. Once the juice is ready
then
it will be heated in the evaporator to turn it into
syrup
. After that
this
syrup
will be passed into the centrifuges where
sugar
separated from the
syrup
and turned into crystals. At the final stage,
this
crystalised
sugar
is left for drying and cooling for the usage of customers.
