) Mrs Barrett, an English-speaking woman who lives in your town, has advertised for someone to help her in her home for a few hours a day next summer. Write a letter to Mrs Barrett. In your letter: • suggest how you could help her in her home • say why you would like to do this work • explain when you will and will not be available

Dear Mrs Barrett, In acknowledgement of your advertisement for the need for house help in the upcoming Summer, I would like to apply for that job. We live in the same town and I think my experience would be suitable for
this
job if given an opportunity. I have worked as a caretaker of a physically disabled child for the past 3 years. There I used to make breakfast, clean the house, do the laundry and dishes, help with the school work and occasionally do the gardening too.
Therefore
, I can help you with almost any task I mentioned above and more if needed. I don’t have many classes during my summer semester, so I can utilize some time in saving some money for the fees
next
year. I would be available from Wed to Sun as I have classes on Mon and Tue between 4pm to 8 pm. I would be willing to share references if needed. Hope to hear from you. Thank you. Sincerely, Kathy Carter
