You were recently impressed by a staff member at a store. Write a letter describing your appreciation. In your letter include: ● What the situation was ● How you were helped ● What you are going to do as a result of this good experience
Dear Sir,
I am writing
this
letter to say thanks to your employee Mr Justin for his work last
week.
I would like to tell you that I came there with my husband for shopping. We were looking for Indian food but it was difficult to find it. In addition
, We bought a dining table which was heavy and difficult to lift.
Firstly
, Justin came to us and ask if we need any help. Then
we told them about food which he found so quickly. We were impressed by his service because he was working at the front counter and he came from there to find a thing. Moreover
, after we paid the bill it is difficult to move the cart because of the table. Then
he lifts a table for us and fixes it in our truck. My husband liked his customer service.
We were happy for his help and I gave him a tip to his appreciation.I would like to give him a five-star rating on google reviews.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
John SmithSubmitted by komal03892 on

The Greeting
Depending on the style and aim of the letter, you will need to adapt your greeting.
Always start an informal letter in the ways:
- Dear + name
- Hi / Hello + name
‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.
For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:
- Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
- Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.
