You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work. Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In your letter describe the situation explain your problems and why it is difficult to work say what kind of accommodation you would prefer

Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to request a change in my accommodation room and
also
to notify you of the problems that I am facing during my stay. I live in the "Floral" building, room number 252. I am a research student and my work mainly consists of hands-on projects after my college hours. My roommate is an art student who mainly deals with cultural arts for various programs. Most of the time he practices music or speech in our living area which creates quite a lot of disturbance for me when I work on my projects.
Moreover
, he plays instruments which cause loud noise and it is so disruptive that it affects my concentration in my work and it takes more time than required to finish my test results.
In addition
, some of his friends always linger around my room, which creates misunderstandings when I communicate my problems with him.
Therefore
,I would to have a single bedroom for myself,
thus
helping me to concentrate on my studies. If there are any extra costs required, you can let me know and I will pay the same. I am looking forward to your positive reply. Yours faithfully,
