Every year several languages die out. Some people think that it is not important because life will be easier if there are fewer language in the world. To what extent do you agree or disagree with opinion?

In present times, there are thousands of languages which are spoken by different nations in the world. In the meantime, there are many native tongues which are forgotten as their usage has declined with time. I agree with
this
statement that the usage of only a few tongues will be beneficial for everyone
instead
of many which are not known by the majority. In
this
essay, I will highlight a few points to give my view of
this
. To commence with, knowing only one or two native tongues, will make communication among different nations more effective.
Furthermore
, folk from one country will be comfortable travelling to other countries because there will be no language barrier.
For instance
, many Indians visit Dubai and Abu Dhabi every year and they feel at home because
English
is understood and spoken there.
Hence
, a person will not look like an alien in a foreign country.
In addition
, if there is a common language spoken worldwide, entrepreneurs from two different states will be able to do business together.
Furthermore
,
this
will enhance economic growth and
also
provides job opportunities to a great many people.
For example
, in the
last
few years, Google hired hundreds of foreigners whose
first
speech was not
English
, yet they managed to get selected because they
also
knew
English
.
Therefore
, it is said that speaking a common accent will buy a great many chances for career growth. In conclusion,
although
multilingual people are fortunate to know many languages,
nevertheless
, it will not benefit them in a long run. In my opinion, knowing only one or two languages can provide people with better connections and work opportunities between different communities. It is
also
predicted that, by the end of
this
century, the
English
accent will become the most spoken style in the entire world. ,

Support ideas with relevant, specific examples

Examples make your writing easier to understand by illustrating points more effectively.

Examples, if used properly, not only help you get higher marks for ‘Task Response’ but also for ‘Coherence’.

When giving examples it is best to put them after your main idea or topic sentence. They can be used in the middle of supporting sentences or they can be used to start a new sentence. There is no rule for where exactly to give examples in essays, logically they would come after your main idea/topic sentence or just after a supporting sentence.

Linking words for giving examples:

  • for instance
  • to illustrate this
  • to give a clear example
