and low-fat & reduced had increased. According to what is shown, at the beginning of the

was the most popular spread with 140

margarine
was approximately less by 50 %. In 1991

dropped sharply.
On the other hand

experienced upward trends by 20% to reach the same amount of

declined slightly.
In contrast

remained stable for five years and, after that, dropped to be the less favourite spread by the end of the

consumed. Low fat and reduced spreads were introduced in 1996, with about 10

grew dramatically by 8 times and peaked at 80
