The line chart depicts the amount of three kinds of spreads:
margarine

 and low-fat & reduced spreads over 26-year periods between 1981 and 2007. It is clear from the given graph that
butter
 and
margarine
consumption
 decreased throughout the
period
, while the quantity consumed of
butter
 and low-fat & reduced had increased. According to what is shown, at the beginning of the

 was the most popular spread with 140

 consumed, while the
consumption
 of
margarine
 was approximately less by 50 %. In 1991

 dropped sharply.
On the other hand

consumption
 experienced upward trends by 20% to reach the same amount of

 declined slightly.
In contrast

 remained stable for five years and, after that, dropped to be the less favourite spread by the end of the

 consumed. Low fat and reduced spreads were introduced in 1996, with about 10
