The pie charts illustrate the proportion of a variety of devices used by Canadian people watching television in 2009 and 2019. Overall, the percentage of Canadians using conventional TV, desktop computers and laptops exhibited upward trends, whereas those watching flat-screen TV, tablets and mobile phones showed a decline in the period given. In 2009, people accessing conventional TV saw the greatest difference between the years provided. It made up the largest part of watching television, at just over one-

and fell dramatically to only 4% in 2019, which took the
