Dear Gulnoza. I hope you are doing well. You pardon me for we did not meet
last
Friday at the park. I could not make it to the meeting because I received a presidential school. It was a study interview which has scheduled for Monday but was preponed due to the interviewer's going abroad on Monday. I did try to meet with you. I made a WhatsApp call and I sent a message on Instagram but you did pick up the phone. And my phone crashed. So, I could not make another call. But no worries. My interview went on well and I succeeded in getting a study. We can meet again and I would want to fix the date and time. I will be sure that ai do not miss it
this
time. I'm looking forward to reading my massage. Warm regards Madina

Word Count

IELTS says that you should write a minimum of 150 words in writing task 1. If you go under word count you will lose marks in task response.

A very long letter will not give you a higher band score.

Aim for between 160 to 190 words in writing task 1. This will ensure a concise letter and will be realistic in terms of time management. You have only 20 minutes to write the letter and you need around 5 minutes of planning time, so you will not be able to write a long letter in 15 minutes.
